VR Recommendations

Quest 2. Clear winner. /End thread.

The rest you need a PC/console or you use your phone which is rubbish.

PSVR is utter garbage compared to Quest 2, or Quest 1 even. The tracking is poor on the headset and is downright terrible on the hand controls. I tried it round a friends place as he was always telling me VR was garbage and I wanted to see why he though that when my own experience is the exact opposite. It turns out that yes, VR is garbage if your only exposure is PSVR.

Thanks guys, I would like to play Iron Man and Star Wars Squadrons but not at the expense of the experience itself. Will go for the Quest 2 as well.

The Quest 2 also has the ability to tether to a PC also.

Things to consider getting to improve comfort and storage. IMO order of importance for me.

1 - The Elite Strap
2 - Prescription lenses if you wear glasses
3 & 4 - A case to keep them all together and some earbuds

You don't have to use the account you sign up with - mines a dummy one (Facebook I mean)

Plus you can lock down access/rights between your account and the Q2 (a little).

I don't see the big deal in needing a Facebook account, it's not like you need to use your real identity.
