Also strongly lnked with Taukeiaho for the season after - he would have been perfect for Wigan (goal kicking prop). That's a good squad they're putting together. They are obviously managing the salary cap a lot better than other teams.

Worrying impact from the latest variant. Will Catalan and Toulose be able to piggyback on the big RU sides lobbying the French govt to allow non-vaccinated players to play? I am beginning to get worried about the start of the season being played with reduced crowds and weakened teams. There's a worrying amount of players who have chosen to remain unvaccinated. It's their call, but its likely to cause problems for the game as a whole

@TonyM19 - I'm a bit torn over it. One the one hand, there are a lot of un-/under-vaccinated players in RL and the last thing the sport needs is another season trashed by COVID. On the other hand, if they don't want to get vaccinated then they have to accept the consequences of their damn silly actions.

Unless they have genuine grounds for not getting it (better than Djokovic's ;)) then the teams shouldn't pay the dappy sods...
