Yes, get a 3090 rtx gpu. And a alder lake cpuHi guys, I'm changing jobs soon to a role that is remote based, so WFH daily. My 'office' is on my upstairs landing, I can get away using an old mini heater occasionally through the day so my fingers aren't icicles but I assume this isn't great on the leccy. Are there any cheap to run mini heaters out there? What is everyone else doing? I don't fancy having the heating on daily, especially with oil prices

Buy some GPUs and start mining lol
InnitThis tbh.
Got one, doesn't warm my hands unfortunately
You probably want an oil heater. A typical 2000w one would cost 40p per hour @20p per/Kwh (roughly the current price cap) but of course that was if it was running continuously at full whack which is not going to happen in real world use. https://www.vonhaus.com/vh_en/whats...5x-Bmgjy4SLSHfe4YSOiMtRYovz-HbuYaApmvEALw_wcB

Depends on the heat conductivity of the element in question. Hold a wooden stick at the bottom and heat it at the top with a blowtorch.
