It’s a 10/10. Nothing anyone can say to convince me otherwise. A sheer joy to watch and it was 2 and a half hours that will live long in the memory.

I can understand it when the performers are there to take the acclaim, not in a cinema when you are clapping a screen.

Makes no difference in my eyes-you’re watching a performance regardless.

Endgame and today with No Way Home were two of the best cinema going experiences I’ve had and that was down to the cinema being packed and everyone enjoying themselves.

Each to their own, but they detracted from my enjoyment of the film as I couldn't hear the dialogue due to them.

Mate, what's even the point in posting that without spoiler tags? Now everyone who reads that who hasn't seen the movie will know there's going to be "one of those" in the movie.

You've been complaining about spoilers, but you do it yourself all the time. You posted book spoilers for Dune in the Dune MOVIE thread, someone posted something with a spoiler tag in the Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse thread, then you went ahead and replied, mentioning the thing they spoilered without any spoiler tags yourself, and now this.

Can't think of many things worse than people whooping and screaming in a cinema every few minutes. Seen videos of it happening in the US and thank god its not really a thing over here.

It wasn't really whopping and screaming, there was a couple of cheers but just a general feeling of engagement that I've not felt before. Audible intakes of breath at certain moments. It was an absolutely great experience for me

What makes it worse is that now I’ve seen it and as a moderator the post is still visible which means potentially other moderators will see it.

toby maguire was the best spider man

he's in this one right?
Who's to say?

Went to see it yesterday afternoon after work, I probably liked it the same or even more so than endgame, easily a 10/10. Stay well away from spoilers as much as you can if you have not seen it yet, it warrants going into it as blind as possible.

The only issue my screen had was 2 very young kids (talking like 5-8 or something) who just couldn't sit still for more than 10min. Kept getting up and running around, crying to the mother who just swore and shouted at them to stop ruining the movie for everyone. No lady, you ruined the movie by bringing 2 very young kids knowing full well they wouldn't sit for 2-3 hours.

Also the usual people going oooooo and aaaaaaaa at every moment in the movie, like come on just shut up you are not at home on your sofa. Someone got escorted out as they got caught filming a....certain scene, they never came back haha
