Home tread mill

Hi guys,

I have bought a home treadmill (JTX sprint 5). It's not the best treadmill in the range but it's not the cheapest.

I weigh 90kg but I was surprised how easy it is to stall the motor.

The belt is tensioned correctly etc but as I have only ever used the expensive gym treadmill have I set my expectations too high upon this treadmill.

I'm finding the treadmill near enough impossible to use due to the unnatural feel of running on it with the belt constantly labouring.

Is this just the case with these home treadmills?

I use my brothers all the time and it’s certainly not near the price of that one and it works great.

Sounds like a dicky treadmill.

Yeah sounds like a broken motor. That model is rated to 130kg user. Was it new? If so it's time to call them out.

i have a treadmill and it does nothing like that. as above it sounds like yours is knackered, get it exchanged.
