EDIT: congrats on your no.19 slot, Liger - it's totally mouse-free I swear :)
LMAO :D

Wow, many of you have loads of computers folding. Are you network administrators or do you get relatives and friends to fold under your name? :)

still havent worked out what "lol" means.
laugh out loud - so now you know :)

in my case all my output is from home machines, mine and my girrrrlfriends' machines here and 2 machines i left back at my parents house when i left there and my dad's machine which isn't on as much as it could be

that does me good for 3-4,000 points a week usually, depending on how lucky i get with the WUs - i'd give it all for an overclocked X2 :p

Not sure how you feel about Intel PCs but my Prescott @ 3.75Ghz on air (Vaochill Micro) manages 4,000 points a week on its own crunching QMD WUs.
Expensive to run equivalent to 1.5 A64 rigs, but cheap to build.

The Dual Opteron (939) should be on sale here by Xmas might be better than the X2. Though Im quite supprised mine has got to 2.7Ghz so easily.

My little farm is all my own work. First started with a XP2500+ on a Vapochill in 2 Akasa clear cases bolted together with the center sections taken out so it was one big case the size of two. I use to use F@H to test the stability of my overclocks, much better than Prime95.
Everything just snowballed from there and I now have 13 cpus folding, costs a fair bit on the lecky though.
Hopefully it all helps towards cures for various forms of cancer and we,re not adding to global warming too much.

Finally. Finished writing my report on why we should be using server 2k3 at work. If the boss accepts, that will mean XP can go on all the computers and i can start using two instances of folding on the HT P4's.

Do I need the -forceasm flag?
CPU is overclocked to 2.4 GHz but it is stable as it has completed many 600 pointer WUs in the past.

Sometimes an early unit end is the correct result of a WU. I wouldn't worry about it until you have any more failing. You probably shouldn't get more than one EUE every few months on a stable rig.

Somethings gone wrong somewhere?

Incorrect shutdown,
WU could have shut down early as Mattus said
Looks like your running -forceasm

If it happens any more in the next week or so, remove the -forceasm flag. It's probably nothing to woor about. just be extra careful to watch your logs and see what's happening with the units.

it's quite unusual how it came to an EUE not long after it was restarted - it's also odd that it happened on a WU that was such a high generation (Gen 23) since most EUE's tend to happen in the first couple of generations - however that could all be coincidental

i wouldn't remove the -forceasm flag as all that will do is switch to painfully slow loops should anything happen - it would be far better to back off any slightly unstable overclock if it appears to be causing problems

as everyone else has said - keep an eye on your logs for the next week or so for anything unusual

What does it mean that I am the top stomper?

It means that you've "stomped" more people last week than any other member. A stomp is passing another user in the points ranking. Newer members tend to be the top stompers as they are passing inactive folders by the dozen.

Congratulations on snagging the top spot and welcome to the forum.:D

yep congrats on topping the stompers chart last week :)

even though they are all inactive i thought it was still fair that the new peeps should get included - slacky never used to in his Seti Classic stats but as we only have a handful of new members each week i thought what the hell :p
