Can someone please help me calibrate my Belinea 102035W widescreen 20" so that I can get the best colour possible? Should I should the built in nvidia calibration tool or adobe gamma tool? Or is there a better way?

Thanks

Best way? Use a colour calibration tool like the Gretag Macbeth Eye-One Display 2. Only downside is that it costs around £200.

A cheaper option would be the Spyder 2, but it's poor in comparison.

Cheapest way? Set your colour temperature to 6500 and use Adobe Gamma.

Doesn't quite work like that I'm afraid. The profile contains information that tells your system what colours your screen can and cannot show. Just because you import a profile doesn't mean that your screen is set up to accurately reproduce the colour spectrum.

Use Adobe Gamma to create your own custom profile and set that as the default in Advanced Display Properties.
