Whats the difference between and Wireless Access Point and a Wireless Modem Router

The wireless access point would be used with a router, it would use the access point to repeat the signal of the wireless router to extend its range.

Pretty much every wireless router would come with ethernet as well. Then you'll just have to read up the descriptions for each router and it will tell you if they have an ADSL modem or if they are used for cable instead.

OcUK have the two types of routers in seperate categories which is pretty handy.

An access point's just a bridge - the networks on the wireless and the ethernet ports are supposed to be the same.
