Went to the new forest yesterday evening and thought I'd try out a few pictures.
Upon getting home I was a little disapointed. I'm using canon kit lens (USM II version), but the focus doesnt appear to be very good. I dont have a tripod yet so wonder if its camera shake.
Anyway here are a few images

Over exposed sky. I do have an underexposed shot to get the sky right, but I struggled to combine them

cute 'orses

This was a nice setting, but I couldnt do it justice at all (bad blurring).

Now two HDR shots. Thanks cykey ;) (Not done with a tripod so dodgy - I guess I could try using the middle exposure RAW and create the over and underexposed...)

the horses are good, the HDR one just looks weirdy beardy though...
I wouldnt of thought camera shake would be that much of a problem seems like a fairly light day so I assume the shutter speed was relatively fast?

1/13th sec for #3

the others were up in the 1/125 and 1/200s

I guess I'm just gonna have to keep practising with focus and dof :)
(Have to admit, the HDR are screen captures ;))

Have one my self. It will take a while to get used to tbh. Have a play about with the settings and you should be able to get clear shots and so on.
