MS Money/ money management S/W

It was certainly succint....

I'd be interested in knowing the name of any software too - at the moment I use an Excel spreadsheet but it's getting a little unweildy and some proper software would probably serve me better.

Well .... it answered the question that was asked, didn't it? :D

What I was referring to was TurboCash. It used to be commercial until a couple or three years ago, when it went GPL.

Personally, however, I don't like it. I haven't used it extensively, but I found it clumsy and unintuitive. It may, however, have been me.

The obvious competitor to MS Money was Intuit's Quicken but, as I understand it, they no longer provide it .... or at least, not in the UK.

EDIT - And Quicken wasn't free, either.

Oh, and I don't say it's the only free alternative out there ... just the only one I have any knowledge at all of.
