Help With Microphone

Hi,

Just got this new microphone, pan stand, i plugged it in and tested it using my wave program and nothigny recorded so i tested the hardware same thing?

i had a headset microphone before buth that broke.

Whats up with it?

Check your mixer settings and see if the mic channel is turned on or the volume is up.
