well, with a few bits I have lying about I plan to build a SFF PC...

I've got a small mATX case that I have spray painted black, and I have already the following bits to go inside:

Pioneer DVD-ROM
Philips 16x DVD-RW
Antec Smartblue 350w PSU
30GB Maxtor HDD
Arctic Cooling Silencer 64 Ultra Skt939 cooler
Arctic Cooling ATi Silencer 4 (for x800 series)
2 x 80mm Silverstone Fans

Im looking to finish the system off for around £350, and Ive got the following in mind:

CP-141-AM AMD Opteron UP 144 San Diego 1.8GHz 1MB Cache (Socket 939) - Retail (CP-141-AM)
£104.95 £104.95
MY-005-GL GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS2.5 (GE1GB3200BHDC) (MY-005-GL)
£49.95 £49.95
GX-038-PC PowerColor ATI Radeon X800 XL 256MB DDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-038-PC)
£89.95 £89.95
MB-041-GI Gigabyte K8NMF-9 nForce4 Micro ATX (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-041-GI)
£41.95 £41.95
Subtotal £286.80
Shipping (City Link Parcel Next Day (Delivered Mon-Fri)) £8.95
VAT £51.76
Total £347.51

what does everyone think to that, would it be worth the extra money for 2gb RAM? or maybe a better CPU?

I hope the system will serve well as a HTPC and a fairly reasonable gaming rig.
