Just connected my lcd widescreen tv to the secondary output on my graphics card (nvidia geforce) and the top of the picture is cropped. Any idea why this is happening? I cant find a setting that sorts it, its doing it in windows and on video playback

Your tv is overscanning the image, thats normal.

Look within your software/options and within the setup you will find HDTV options. You want to manually adjust the "underscan area" this typically means making a box fit your screen changing the resolution in the process so that you have NO overscan.

ATI & Nvidia both offer this feature but its much better laid out on Nvidia.
