Most people have their own preference with colours and brightness etc. Here is my setup

Using DVI

Advanced DV Mode = ON
DV Mode = PHOTO (NATIVE)
Brightness = 50%
Contrast = 50%
Sharpness = 20%

I have found this setup to be best for me, but have noticed colour banding on some apps that use gradients. Especially MediaPortal if anyone has used it using the Razor Skin (WS)

Anyone using 9300 or anything different. Also have you installed the .inf file for the monitor.

Please keep on topic as a repository for fellow NEC users.

Advanced DV Off

Also switched off the non-native res warning pop up as it pops up whenever DII switches screens.
Inf installed.

I cant get on with advanced DV mode. I dont know if its something I'm doing wrong but having the screen brightness/contrast/gamma etc adjust everytime a new screen opens closes or even with animated windows on websites is doing my head in.

Same here. Advanced DV was giving me headaches.

My setup:

Brightness 19.5%
Constrast 50.0%
Advanced DV Mode: OFF
DV Mode: Standard
Colour: Native
Sharpness: 20.8%

This seems to give me the best all round picture quality with minimal banding for games like Oblivion, Lock On etc
