hey, i'm thinking of getting a present for my brother (i buy useful presents!! :p) but i thought i'd ask about compatibility before i do. He's got a 6200 in his PC, and a Samsung HD/LCD TV thinger (flash git) and i thought it'd be pretty cool if he could hook his PC up to this TV. does anyone know if the 6200 has a DVI out, so i could get him a DVI/DVI cable, or would i have to go VGA/DVI?

cheers

Pretty much all graphics cards for the past few years have at least one DVI port, are you asking if it has two? If that is the question then I don't know and can't find out without the brand/model and in any case it is probably simpler to take a look at the back of the PC.

It may well also have a TV out port on it(S-Video) or similar so might have come with a cable but you'd also need to know what connections his fancy LCD TV has :)

my old card was a 6200 and it has on the back of the card one dvi output, one vga output, and one s video output. The gpu should have came with an adapter to turn the other vga into a dvi so you would therefore have two dvi ouputs. And yes it has an svideo output so this could possibly be used
