Anyone messend on with Tx. Attenuation?

Just found the option on my modem, I was wondering if any others had it on theirs and if so, could post similar results to compare with mine. Basically what I've read is that the closer you are to the exchange the greater this value should be. I am ~2.4km which is kinda "middle-ish" for ADSL distance, I hear some people can connect at nearly 4km+.

Anywho, I made a graph below of my results and got a nice boost by adding half a dB to the attenuation. You can see as I add more it tails off. :) (This is on 512kbps)

Wrong way round.

I hear some people can connect at nearly 4km+.

Considerably more.

Suspect it's totally irrelevant, but instead random SNR margin fluctuations letting you push harder.

Thanks for pointing out it was the wrong way round though. ;)
