BT Bandwidth check

Hi,

We have a pretty bad line where we live, the max we can get is 576k internet which is unreliable so we have to reboot the router every few days meaning I can't check the data input/output/bandwidth used as it'll be inaccurate.

Is there anywhere in the BT account I can check what bandwidth the line has used please?

Thanks,
Craig.

Not the answer you're looking for, but since I'm not a BT customer I can't comment on your question. However if your router supports SNMP you could always have a look into PRTG: http://www.paessler.com/prtg. That is assuming you have a PC which is always on of course.

Just got round to using it today, it's a extremely nice piece of software!

Took a little setting up and working out which of the sensors it found was for what, but they were fairly easy to work out and it's all working well now with not a lot of effort :)

Thanks,
Craig.
