My HDD runs very very hot

Ive been out of the PC circle for a while now so Im not sure if there is a better way to cool it down without adding those daft lookin HDD cooler things.

Any siggestions to help keep it cool?

Bear in mind I'm not made of money

Depending on the make.model of the drives the temperatures may not be to much of an issue.

If its a real problem, there sin't a lot you can do except put them in an enclosure, or attach fans.
That is you can add additional case fans to draw air across the drives, like i do with mine (i have 2 maxtor drives which seem to run hot but with a 12cm case fan drawing air across they run nice and cool)

It all depends on your setup really
