problem with w800i

Hi

I have a w800 i from about jan time. It has been dropped a few times so has a little cosmetic damage but this has not effected the functionality of the phone. However the 2 button has stopped working now.

Can i get anything done about this as its only 5 or so months old ? Ii is on contract from o2 and i didnt purchase insurance but just something i done expect from a relatively new phone.

there was another thread here recently... something along the lines of "if the phone is less than 6 months old they will send it off to a repair shop for you, or give you a referb phone replacement etc".

Just a update.

1 phone call later to o2 and posting my old phone back 2 days later a brand new phone is in my hand. Excellent service from o2. 6 month old phone had a few battle scars too even if it had nothing to do with the actual failure.
