will these disk work with this Recorder ?

hi,
I bought my first dvd Recorder an Sony RDR-GX120. I bought these disks for it
Sony DVD-R x16 Recordable disk. Will these disk be compatiable with it?


Every time -try and record something it keeps telling me-these disks are not compatiable?
