Cool OSX like desktop there. :)
What things did you use to get it like that?
(Icons, theme, ect;)

Thanks. :)
Theme - T-ish Pack
Iconset - OSX
Finder Icon - Innex
Firefox - iFox Smooth
GDM - AppleLinux

The launcher panel is just a gnome panel size 50 with 100% transparency

I made the background for the topbar from a screenshot taken from OSX :D

I also replaced the ubuntu icon but as soon as I restarted it was back :(

*edit*
I just found out how to get the close etc button to top left instead of top right.

goto terminal:

gconf-editor

now go:
apps->metacity->general

and into button_layout field put the following values:

close,minimize,maximize:menu

default: menu:minimize,maximize,close

Odd.
Ive downloaded all the files that you specifyed above, but none of them work!?
The theme program in Ubuntu doesnt recognise any of the files in the archives?
And im not spending all day allocating 100+ icons to 100+ objects in Ubuntu.
So i must be missing something obvious?

Ideas?

Those are the OSX icons aren't they mate.

I really like the look of them but cant for the life of me get them to bloody work :(

Try this:

1. Go to http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=31618
2. Find the download link (it's under the description)
3. Download the archive to your desktop (should be called OSX3.1.tar.gz)
4. Open up the theme manager (System>Preferences>Theme)
5. Drag the archive on your desktop into the theme manager
6. Open up the Theme Details (button on right of theme manager)
7. Go to the Icons tab
8. Select OSX

Works for me. :)

My Ubuntu desktop. Made the switch from windows and havent looked back. Ubuntu is by far the best distro I have ever used and put up with (Ive tried a few but always gone back to windows within a week!)

Linked due to size.

All I need to figure out now is how to write to my NTFS External drive, but it doesnt look like its going to happen, ive been told an external drive is an even bigger problem to write too than a normal internal drive.

What program are you using to display all the information in the background? :)
