when i was overclocking my CPU i noticed an option to change my PCIe Latency.

it is currently at 100, i should be getting the MSI 7900GTO sometime in the very near future, i will more than likely be overclocking the card.

questions:

1. if i am overclocking the card will i need to increase/decrease the timer
2. what actually does the timer do?
3. the timer is currently at 100 (is this the default)

100 is the safe option, many people set it to 101 if their mobo doesnt automatically lock at 100, in many situations you can push it higher without losing stability, i can set mine upto 120 on DFI ultra/7800gt and it is fine, doesnt seem to help in any way, i think it gives more bandwidth but the 7800 doesnt saturate it as it is, hence zero visible effect
