@JRJ No prob! The lazy auto mode has always been my only way of doing things, until now! So long as you’re happy to let the camera do the ISO itself (apart from the limit you can add), then on your thumb you have shutter speed and apature, and on the top exposure compensation, all immediately...
@JRJ
I've been using mine almost daily now since December. So not so long, but long enough. I'm using it as a family camera with young kids, and bought it as I was disappointed with all the images from my 600D.
Long story short, I absolutely couldn't be happier. The size is great, the look of...
JL are selling a little 40.5mm Hoya UV filter for a rather silly £2.93 at the min. Good for protecting the A7C's kit lens, or the Samyang 35mm.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered the A7C. £1729 from WEX (minus £26 in cash back) for the A7C in Silver, plus the kit lens, plus the Bluetooth tripod / handle.
really looking forward to it!
Cheating sounds good to me! I hate how much of my stuff is slightly off focus. I know I should just 'get good', but I'd rather just get the shot.
Which lens do you use *most*? I'll start off with the kit lens and see how I find it, but am sure I'll send up grabbing either the Sony 24-240 mm or...
Ah perfect, thank you.
So the reason I want it seems almost the same as you. I have a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old who I simply can't keep focus on with my old 600D. The auto tracking eye focus is the main sell for me, plus the compact size and FF sensor make it a winner.
So when shooting the kids...
Have a read around about upgrading boots, before you do. Much of the components are proprietary Dell, and will throw up errors on bit of you change them. I tried swapping out just the rear fan and it wasn't happy.
To be honest, I'm not sure a T20 is the best base for a 4790k. It's a hot case at...
I dunno, did they? They had it on the edge of one slide in the original keynote presentation, then after that I haven’t seen them mention it again - it’s certainly not listed in the specs on the store page. It’s mainly YouTubers and forum posts that have been upselling the extra RAM, rather than...
Ah, 3 days too late - has to be within 28 days and I'm just out now. Never mind - I was happy at £250, so £200 is still great.
£174.50 (at JL) for this keyboard though is an absolute steal.
It'd be interesting to have a little play with, if any of you guys were happy to upload a clip?
Does no one use proxy workflows though? I've basically never not used a proxy workflow - I think there was a moment just before 4k where HD workflows were done natively, but otherwise it's always low...
I don't know of any 'extra charge', but the likes of Sky will be making money from the license fee's monetary support of rolling out the UK's broadband programme. The license fee helps pay for this, then Sky hook customers up to their service via it, and charge.
So don't cry for Comcast.
