I got a solid oak black american walnut top, custom dimensions (2m X 0.86m) with custom edging for £400. Then added three navy blue Alex drawers for £40 each, total came to £520. Whoever buys this is on another planet.
Jeez. I had the odyssey g9.. bought it for £900 and the QC issues were bad, ended up selling it for £800. I can't imagine spending £2700 on this.. closest I've got is the acer x27 for £1500.
Plus Samsung are not great for warranty. Yes they arrange it for you and it's pretty smooth on that...
I bought the Acer x27 for £1500 and regretted it quite quickly. This for double the price is insanity.
The major issues are 1) lack of warranty - I would expect at least 5 years for this but you get 1 year. 2) it's an ips display, you could buy a 65 oled and 55 oled and have change. Madness..
It can't happen if you protect yourself. I don't give any opportunity for someone to take the item without handing over the money. And I do it in public. The odds are miniscule compared to receiving a return request on eBay....
Thanks. I should be getting it next week so will be able to check then, cheers for letting me know regarding the bios, I usually don't check it for GPUs, will see what version it's on. This is the LHR version so probably like it'll be on v3.
£240 difference is a lot but not massive.. will be...
Bought a rtx 3060ti Asus dual mini OC graphics card. Cost me around £680 brand new, imported from Japan... Which I thought was a good price based on eBay and such.
You may be like that's 3080 prices for a 3060ti.. yep. I bought a MSI ventus 3080 1 week after launch for £670.
However this is...
This. Go with another person. The other person counts the cash and then you give the item and always meet in a public space eg supermarket carpark.
Done this countless times, never had one problem. Always speak to the buyer before hand as well, you can usually tell what they're going to be like.
This is why you only accept cash on collection for any large purchase on eBay. I've done multiple including a rtx 3090 and never had a problem.
Why take the risk of getting 5-10% more by offering delivery and potentially losing it all?
Just bought the silver version. Caseking have it in-stock so sure overclockers will soon.
Few things to note.. need an itx mobo with USB c header, not many to choose from!
Only a few 3060/3060ti will fit and obviously all out of stock.
Other than that, love the looks...!
