What language were you trying to use? As not all of them have been updated for live translate yet it is only available for a handful of languages. I believe If you go into the live translate settings and select the language you wanted translating it should tell you whether it can translate...

The live translate of text messages is so good and decided to try last night with a friend and was able to have an entire conversation with both of us fully understanding what they were saying even though and it speak and ounce of their language

I finally got my headphones approved after 8 days. I believe this was due to ID mobiles. Sending a carphone warehouse invoice especially with it stating a 27th of my order when that was actually the dispatch date and the order date was the 19th or 20th and because my invoice said Carphone...

I put down the 20th as that's when I ordered & got a confirmation email from cpw but they too have put the 27th down for me on my invoice
