I was talking about some screenshots. There is nothing ( or very little in those pictures that cannot be done without RT ), we don't see of screen reflections and we don't have movement to see some occlusion. More over, the guy seems to be impressed by lighting and indeed it looks good. But...
Which one of those pictures is so awesome that cannot be seen in a non RT game? As far as i can see all reflections are of on screen objects and WD Legion only has RT reflections. It doesn't look like the best example of how RT can make a difference.
Water in CP 2077 looks so ... PS4 ish. :)
I'll take the water from Horizon Forbidden West all day long and i can't wait for that game to come to PC. The water in ARK is great too.
Much better than in CP 2077 since you can see yourself in the reflection.
But i agree in your clip they don't look ray traced. Reflections dissapearing when viewed from certain angles is not the most annoying thing for me tbh. I understand it is a game and there are rendering limitations. It is...
You don't read your own posts. Because that guy says " it will take few days to ...". You don't just activate a plugin or add the motion vectors or whatever. All these things need to be tested and tweaked, the features need to be added to the game UI and so on. That takes time. It is not a...
I think it is a lot more work than some of us think and tbh i don't see FSR2 being added in a lot of games unless AMD pays a lot of money, the way Nvidia did/does. There are two ways to do it, you either pay for their time to add your feature in their games or you build hype and put pressure on...
Can't wait to see people saying that XeSS needs one year to implement since that much has passed from XeSS announcement until first release. :)
The reality is all three solutions need the same time. And it is not minutes or hours even when you have an engine plugin ( it will take at least a...
The only difference i see in the screenshots is that DLSS is more sharpened than FSR2. That's why it looks to have more detail. Once you add sharpening to FSR, you won't be able to spot the difference at least on screenshots between FSR quality and DLSS quality.
Probably FSR + Sharpening is...
FSR:
DLSS:
FSR + Sharpening:
It is the same thing, it depends on how much sharpening you add. I guess both are made with neural networks trained on 16k res images. :)
For me RT is very low in the list of features a game should have. TBH i am more interested in better antialiasing than RT, bad aliasing is a lot more annoying than anything else. Plus a lot of the RT games are ... not so great when it comes to story/gameplay. I won't buy a game just because it...
It won't be a DLSS killer unless Jensen gives up on DLSS and tells everyone that the AI/tensor cores thing was a marketing trick, DLSS and FSR are similar and there is no reason for any dev to add the same feature twice. :)
If anything FSR 2.0 will be a good indicator for which dev is taking...
I see people are reporting huge increase in performance in DX11 games, that's nice even if it is very late for this generation.

41% for 1% lows? That is insane
Yes any game that has DLSS implemented can also have the new FSR implemented very fast. The same will be true for any game that will have FSR 2.0 implemented, there is no excuse not to implement DLSS also. :)
Not sure if they are doing exactly that but they are the ones who decide what is the price of each model in the major stores. Even more true from Nvidia since it is a bigger player in the market.
