Well, I finished it (24 hours) and frankly...it is too long for its own good. Great atmosphere, but it is repetetive. 5/10

Yeah the whine noise is utter frakk up by Valve. It made steam deck truly unusable, and all because of a stupid fan not having proper spacing... As for my RMA, according to shipping info my Deck arrived back at Valve Netherlands on 15.4., but the status on Steam site for my Deck still says...

I played it for about four hours. It was...another soulslike, of which I am tired of after finishing DS1, DS2 and Bloodborne. I stand by my opinion, don't mind you having different one, but mind you acting like a jerk about it.

Warhorse/Deep Silver actually released three different Collector's Editions. One in kickstarter, one in retail, and then another in retail with all the DLCs. I own all three. And the gorgeous art book. You should play it. Hardcore mode + open mind is the way to go.

Same here, apparently some DX12 bug https://www.reddit.com/r/lifeisstrange/comments/plu0uw/all_cant_change_the_resolution/ I just use DSR to increase my desktop resolution, the game then launches in that higher resolution and I don't have to mess with anything.

With latest patch you can modify DLSS sharpness right in the menu.

I am glad I bought it on release. Totally worth it, gorgeous game in every way.

I actually just today shipped my Steam Deck back to Valve for a replacement. The high pitch noise made it unusable for me. They agreed with RMA so hopefully in couple weeks I will get whine-free Deck..

Steam Deck's linux is fine. I can play games, browse net, watch netflix (or...other stuff), easily copy files between my windows PC and Steam Deck, work with libreoffice. It is perfectly fine. I see zero reason why I would want to install Windows, considering they have no suspend/resume, no...
