You get a lot of W204 for your money!
We have an s204 estate that is used as a family runarond, it's an incredible amount of car for the money. I regularly do 4-5 hours solid driving in it and it's by far the most comfortable car I've owned.
It just does everything so well, that I can't...
People hate others being successful and love an underdog.
Perhaps they've forgotten the moniker "Ferrari International Assistance" - Although, to be fair, Ferrari had far more influence back then than Mercedes ever will.
If in 10 years time, Max has won 7 titles and is rarely challenged...
HA in docker is crippled because you lose Supervisor and have to manage a lot of depedencies manually.
It's far nicer running HAOS in a VM or baremetal on something like a Pi.
I can't see it.
Mercedes have long been all about equal treatment until the championship is as good as out of reach. They've done it to the deteriment of Lewis' fight against Seb in the past, too. Although, I suppose they have firmly put Bottas in support role a bit earlier this year under more...
There's a lot of talk in here like the only reason for a child to start karting is to end up in F1. Go do some kart sessions with your son, get involved in some local leagues/races - make sure you both enjoy it before start planning a career into single seaters
You can spend £50k+ a year...
I don't understand how any F1 fan can watch something other than the Sky coverage.
On the odd race C4 does cover, the coverage is just so weak. Sky is worth every penny, especially if you get one of the NowTV £120-150 season deals they do at the start of each season.
I gave in and just bought...
I have a couple of conduits at the back of my house that get ethernet from the Garage to the loft and from the loft over to each of the living rooms.
You'd have to be certifiably insane to chase out walls in 4 rooms as well as lifting laminate flooring to achieve the same unless you were...
It's going to be a very empty championship win for Max if Lewis is still injured come the Russian GP.
But if anyone is fit enough to get over a neck injury, it's an F1 driver!
I'm late to the party but I love seeing McLaren win again, they've always been by far my favourite team. Although, it's a shame that Danny gets the glory after Norris has been carrying them all year.
I'm so glad that Lewis has decided to give Max a taste of his own medicine, although today it...
Blanketweed treatment.
I use Aqua Evolution stuff and it clears it up a treat. The only downside is that the pond water turns opaque for a few days if you let it get really bad.
I let it get bad and by the time I went to add a second treatment a week later, the water barely changed at all...
yeah, I’ve considered getting the front door painted to match as neither of us like the awful purple it is now
I think it would look good with just the door done but frames/windows still white
I get the thoughts on the colour, I always imagined it was a given that it'd be white until I was given the choice when ordering it. I just liked the idea of having it a bit different in the end, although I'm not about to go replacing all my PVC with anthracite any time soon :o
I think it's a...
Have you thought about getting an electrician in to look? I'm a fairly practical person, but I had an Electrician friend do 90% of my Ethernet runs.
You'd be amazed at how resourceful they are when running cables and a small/independent sub-contractor probably wouldn't be that expensive if it...
I'm glad you've decided to reinstate the pool, it can't be any more expensive than removing it and who doesn't want a pool in their garden? :D
On a smaller scale, I was in a similar position with an abandoned pond in our garden that would have cost more to remove than fix. I love it now, it's...
Little bit late, but fitted a nice new garage door!
It makes such a big difference to the insulation of the garage, which is useful when its attached to the house.
Before:
After:
This might be a silly question, born out of misunderstanding your original post, but if you have two cables already, have you just considered adding a switch instead of running more cables?
Either way, there's no way I'd want conduit running around the surface of my walls!
I think 570 sounds a bit optimistic for stock S55, but I guess it depends which dyno you're using.
I'm not sure if I would tune it, I want it to be bullet proof for the odd track day I'll do in it and it seems higher power levels increase the incidence of crank hub slippage.
I did DP...
