Please can someone help me on best way to upgrade? :)

You won’t regret buying a good psu... but you will heavily regret a cheap one that takes out the gpu or Mobo when it goes pop ! Learned this the hard way several years ago... when it comes to psu pay extra and relax !

    Core i3-530 Upgrade

Gaming isn’t the main use... would like to have something like a 1060 tbh but that would be massive overkill for my types of games... would like to have that option though ! Oven loooked at the Ryzen 2600k and it seems to be good value and well suited to my use... I was mainly just looking to...

Please can someone help me on best way to upgrade? :)

Change that out for something around 600w... that is a must, dont want it going pop and taking out other components. 32 inch tv will prob be 1080p @ 50/60hz... if you really want 1440p then the 580 and freesync is way to go !

I'd just stick a 1060 in there and maybe look at changing monitor ? Not sure what you currently have but any decent 1080p monitor should be ok with your budget. 500w PSU ? What make / model... should be ok ?

Help me diagnose my PC issue

That's fine, just wanted to ensure drive was booting, the fact its been in another machine now and confirmed is great. Only down side is it may have changed drivers etc but wouldn't worry about that just yet. My instinct is telling me its your Graphics or possibly motherboard !

Help me diagnose my PC issue

Yes, remove your Graphics card and run the onboard, see what you get ? You said you tried hard drive on another machine, was this as a slave drive, ie non boot ?

Help me diagnose my PC issue

I'd be looking at the graphics card first, as suggested above, does your motherboard have onboard video ? If so hook the monitor onto that and see what you get ? If not, can you borrow another graphics card and try it in there ? Also, check everything is seated correctly, memory, graphics...

    Core i3-530 Upgrade

Hi, Thanks for the replies.... PC is mostly used for office, photo tasks... I do like the occasional game on here but with the current GPU that's really limited. I was thinking of adding at least another 4GB Ram (corsair like I have to keep DC set up), adding the SSD 120GB or 240GB to improve...
