Pulled off my current tune :) popping on a stock one to restart the process and hopefully end up with something really dialled in by an expert in the states :)
I get mine myself as I use a different manufacturer and heat range from stock. Being a transverse inline 4, it's a really easy job, take off the cover, 4 bolts for 4 plugs and disconnect one PCV connection and pull up.
I got my little dents removed today by the paintless dent repair guy attached to our local body shop. Looks great but he wanted pics and getting them on a shiny black car was such a nightmare.
You can insist on your own (registered) repair shop where you trust their opinion. The insurer may dangle things like a free courtesy car but if you want it to standard that's what I would do.
There is one place I would trust to do a good job and would always take mine there.
Cleaned my pod filter and saw how mucky it was and modified the protection plate that sits below to fit again so it does not get so dirty. It interferes with the new intercooler.
Also got some fresh wiper blades :)
Could be the boost control solenoid or the blow off valve getting stuck closed sometimes. Aftermarket blow off valves have a spring adjuster, could be your stock spring is having issues.
