But if you make those changes you are losing image quality. If I was to play at 4K I want my image to look 4K, not a much lower resolution just to keep the FPS from tanking. And no RT is not ready, unless you play at 60FPS, which at that point I rather play without RT. I had a FTW3 for 7 months...
Im not worried about longevity at all. I had a 3080, and sold it. The 6900XT runs circles around it on any game I play at 1440p 144hz while staying cooler, and without needing 400w. I don't really care about RT because its an easy way to tank your performance for some eye candy that doesn't...
I got like 100hrs when it came out. It is fun while it lasts but once you beat Expedition 15 or w.e it was called, its over really. Unless you are into speed runs of that type of stuff.
All the classes are good, it depends on what you end up liking. Beyond Light is the main one I would suggest since it gives you the Stasis subclass for all characters.
@LtMatt Just re-pasted the GPU with Kryonaut since I dont have LM at hand. The stock paste was not covering the entire die and looked like it they barely put anything in there. I'll test in a few mins.
Edit: So Watch Dogs Legion was taking it to 62-63C and over 70C on the junction before the re...
Yeah I had a look once and it seems a bit of a mess but I think I understand how it works. Hopefully LM makes a difference even if its on air.
Just had a look and I dont have Conductonaut anymore. I think I gave it to the guy I sold my 7700K since I wasnt planning on using it anymore (even...
I guess when you have a 360mm AIO attached to the GPU you can push it a bit more haha
In terms of LM, now I am intrigued if I should add some to mine. Thought I cant remember if I still have Conductonaut.
Tbh I had 2 6800XT before I went all out and got the 6900XT. One maxed out at 2550Mhz and the other one 2525Mhz (overclocked). I was like nope I am buying a 6900XT lol
My Merc out of the box has 2605mhz (when you first open the program on default settings). I never paid too much attention because I didnt know that it varied from card to card.
The colours supposedly look better because Nvidia limits RGB by default, though I heard that can be changed. I noticed the change but I had already sold the 3080 and bought the 6900XT. In terms of software I find it really convenient that you can do all the overclocking from AMD's software...
