Yamaha are claiming they will fix the older models with a firmware update but haven’t come up with it as yet afaik. It doesn’t look hopeful after all this time. It is a faulty chip after all. Denon/marantz have gone with the converter box solution mostly and called it a day. Yamaha newer ones...

You can ask Denon/marantz to send you a converter box to cure any hdmi 2.1 issues on the current lineup. It’s another box though, and needs it own power source

Well I just deleted assassins creed album (approx 200mb) from the media folder and my ‘other’ folder got about 1gb smaller lmao

My ‘other’ was big. I’m not certain but I think it got quite a lot smaller when I deleted the whole Astrobot trophy capture folder. I wish I had checked the size before and after but I’m pretty sure it made a difference
