    *** Sky Q Thread ***

I’ve tried reading the last few pages of this thread. Im a sky customer (5 year vip apparently) I’m paying too much. If I cancel then I can sign up again on a new deal? Myself, that is, not in a different name? Also my sky q uhd box is starting to play up so I need a new one of those.

    PS5 - 4K + 144HZ + HDR + RGB

The ps5 hdmi is limited to 32gbps so it won’t do Rgb at that res.

Anyone know when do they replace the current line up of AV Receivers?

Did you make any decisions yet? I think I'm going to wait for the upcoming Onkyo/Pioneer which look to promise HDMI 2.1 on multiple ins. I'm keen on the Onkyo NR6100 or possibly Pioneer VSX-105. I'm not interested in Dirac really...

Advice on a new Digital Audio Player with Coaxial Digital Out

Line out would mean your player is decoding. Coax or optical means your amp would be. Depends which has the better DAC chip, but line out will likely be better if you get a decent player. Take your pick really.. lots to choose from. Fiio, shanling, cowon plenu, Sony, astell&kern if you’re...

Anyone know when do they replace the current line up of AV Receivers?

Anyone know when do they replace the current line up of AV Receivers?

If you don’t mind having two cables running up to the tv then it’s not really an issue. Or get one of the converter boxes and tuck it away somewhere. It’s not pretty but it’s not a complete failure. If you can live with the above then you should be good for 5 years at least imho But don’t...

Anyone know when do they replace the current line up of AV Receivers?

I think the main problem is VRR support so Xbox, pc. (Edit) At 4k with hdr and everything at the same time Ps5 no problem going into receiver

Anyone know when do they replace the current line up of AV Receivers?

Well it’s still reliant on an unreleased firmware so don’t hold your breath lol yaayuh’s eArc workaround further up this thread should do the trick on the current models though.

Anyone know when do they replace the current line up of AV Receivers?

Yamaha are claiming they will fix the older models with a firmware update but haven’t come up with it as yet afaik. It doesn’t look hopeful after all this time. It is a faulty chip after all. Denon/marantz have gone with the converter box solution mostly and called it a day. Yamaha newer ones...

Anyone know when do they replace the current line up of AV Receivers?

You can ask Denon/marantz to send you a converter box to cure any hdmi 2.1 issues on the current lineup. It’s another box though, and needs it own power source

No, that shouldn’t affect performance. Close the game and restart it. 1st tip. In menu you can ‘save and exit’ or something like that and it saves where you are, everything

*The Official PlayStation 5 (PS5) Thread*

My ‘other’ was big. I’m not certain but I think it got quite a lot smaller when I deleted the whole Astrobot trophy capture folder. I wish I had checked the size before and after but I’m pretty sure it made a difference
