I have for a long time now used PowerAmp. There are no real permissions that stand out to me and if you buy the full version it's quite well packed with features.
@BigBoy Would the new Poco MR Pro be better suited to you? The X3 has an LCD screen and 4g chip. If that's not a concern then it is a lot of phone for a small price. I have just got the F3 and it's plently good for anything.
I got mine from MI direct for 294 delivered.
As mentioned it's a solid phone but some areas are not as polished. The MiUI takes a bit of getting used to and the camera really needs OIS.
Black Friday deal is on. 309 but then voucher on top of you get it. Makes it 290.
So had the Poco F3 for a week now. All is good apart from a few personal dislikes.
Getting nearly 2 days on the battery with light games, light YouTube etc.
I have not signed in with my MI account and don't use most of the MI apps and nor have I done the debloat. I don't feel I need to to be...
Just ordered the 8/256GB in black with a friend referral of £15 off on top of the current price.
Will look at the debloat post but will probably run nova launcher.
When setting up a new Xiaomi or Poco phone does it ask you to create a Mi account?
I'm tempted by the F3 as my budget can't stretch to a Pixel and I have no interest in Samsung's skin.
If the regular Pixel comes in at £650 then contracts should be interesting. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is £650 and has fairly reasonable contracts available but I wonder how much more the a Pixel would be based on branding.
Would it be a Samsung S21 FE that would be put up against the Pixel 6...
I'm on £12 12gb 5G with Voxi. I get the unlimited data on video and social media and it's the only network where I get signal. EE and 3 get nothing in our house. If the plain 6 is out of budget then the waiting game begins. Unless I get a pixel 4. Battery can't be worse than my LG G7?
I have to agree Drollic, it's caught my eye as a potential replacement for my LG G7.
Surely the camera has to be better then my LG and the android skin cleaner than Xiaomi or Poco? At least Google pay will work with the Nord 2. Lol
I have an LG G7+.
It's never had a case or screen protector and is a 2 nearly a 1 but it does not give up and it gets a fair amount of drops and slides.
Solid phone and I will miss it. It still plays Wild Rift so I'm happy.
A52 5g makes sense better processor (sd750) and screen although it's 6.5 Vs the 6.7. Prices are decent too.
My wife's A52 5g just got a software update with camera improvements.
What do you think of the Xiaomi M11 Lite 5G, possible Poco F3 GT or Realme GT Neo as a move into 5G that can handle some Wild Rift and take a decent pic.
I currently have an LG G7+.
I made the move a couple of years ago and got a Dell G5 and I'm more than happy. I mostly play racing games now with a controller but when the mouse is needed I have a poor man's laptop gaming sofa table thingy called '100 recipes, hard back edition' with a 5 year old Steel series mouse mat.
