Thing is, if they come out in Nov again, largely paper releases last time and most people only got a card 12 months on - might as well get on an FE if the need is there I'd say.

3070ti at £549 given the cost of others still seems like a good deal - new 3080tis about double the price certainly not double the performance

Think there were 3080 FEs on the drop last night - £650 But in the scheme of things £799 isn't too bad for a 3070ti as they've mostly been £900+... however stock is up and prices are-a-falling currently so...

I personally think the FE is a marketing and pr triumph - it's the only interesting thing in a totally somnambulant graphics card market. Even if there are some in stock as there are currently they're so expensive you really feel like you're getting ripped off. There doesn't have to be that...

A whole bunch are in stock currently including the just released 6500xt for £199 - I know it's not highly thought of but at least it's semi affordable if you need something.

So if you bought at £175 and they can be got at £225... With ebay fees and the potential for being stuffed by someone in true ebay style it really doesn't seem worth the effort for what almost certainly is a minor loss.
