We're 4 seasons in, are people really not watching the end credits scenes? :D
No, it's back IO panel too.
But I've done what Quartz said (Man that's a lot of USB stuff in that screenshot :) )
I also found the same advice...
Maybe a Win10 issue (as I never saw this with the same hardware on my Win7 PC) but it's about storage so I'll ask here.
I have an external USB3...
Gonna say something..... maybe it was already said on the previous pages?
I think the game is too long.
Loved the crap out of the first 2/3, but...
It just might be :D
Actually, I take that back, it looks like ambient temperature changes kept it under 100.
Still, lots of other command line stuff to tinker...
I read the readme and tried the command line, but it seems that my RX 5700 doesn't like being told what to do by a miner.
So instead I just...
Do you know what what command line to add to the config file to make the memory a little less stressed? :)
Just timed a transfer and it took 35 seconds to transfer 350mb.
So 10 MB/ps
Also did 2150mb in 3m13s
So yeah, it's looking like my...
Thanks for the replies.
Although your explanation sounds logical, Donnie, I kinda refuse to believe that the pinnacle of USB transfer technology...
I have seen this across numerous Win10 PCs and using a multitude of USB sticks and using front ports and also back panel IO.
FYI for those who are interested, Asrock tech support got back to me and said 100-105 degrees is what 5700 memory is rated to go up to.
Well, I just figured that using a GPU at full oomph (regardless of mining or graphical benchmarking) would be identical.
Now I've learned that's...
Ok, I'll re-wangle the curve.
I did just discover though that there's a difference between mining and gaming when it comes to memory...
Maybe I can message Asrock and ask them what's up with that !!
So I'm kinda new to actually having modern hardware inside my PC and am unsure if a 100 degree memory temp is right... or even if MSI Afterburner...
So I got my new PC up and running and went with Win10.
Part of me is enjoying the 'new feeling' of tinkering with something unfamiliar.
Quite an old thread, but this popped up when googling if it's possible to mine Zcash on a 5700 (I still dunno (Oct 17th 2019)
But I can do ETH...
Just waiting on some case fans and gotta cannibalise my current PC for the PSU.
Wish me luck :D
