I was a little shocked when I googled him and the others on the call lol HP are definitely taking this all very seriously, just keeping my fingers crossed now that my new headset turns up fast and no more issues.

After having major display issues where no image would appear on my Reverb I contacted HP, their Global VR Quality Manager quickly organised a conference call for me along with several of his team. We discussed all of the issues that I've had at length and they are organising over night...

I'm not even opening up Steam VR, even the Windows MR Portal wont work... I see the LCD backlight come on but that's it, no image. I've noticed if I place my hand on the front cloth area its warm to the touch.... is yours?

Yeah unfortunately tried all of these with no luck and I've tried it on a different PC altogether and it makes no difference, exactly the same issue.

Just tried it with my partners PC, complete fresh install etc so at least I know it's not my PC now as it's exactly the same problem.

Well after around 1 hour of using the HP Reverb last night I was blown away, clarity is just stunning and the headset was a joy to use. I couldnt wait until today as I had a clear 6 hours to mess with Elite Dangerous!! Well.... that didn't happen.... the screen is just black! The game loads...

Its defaulting to that for me in Elite Dangerous

In game where you can set screen resolution under display settings.... mine seems to default to 1280x768 which doesnt sound right

What have you set your resolution to though?

Elite Dangerous is just stunning with the HP Reverb!! No issues with tracking and everything is pin sharp. I'm using a 1080Ti I've put the settings to VR High Fastboy, what resolution have you set in game?

My parcel also arrived so will be playing some Elite Dangerous this evening :) roll on 4pm when I can escape from work!

I'm using a 1080Ti also so really hope it's enough for Elite Dangerous as that's what I mostly play these days. I really don't feel like splashing out cash on a 2080Ti

When I was looking to buy an X34P they told me they will stock it but no ETA on when stock would arrive

The X34P also has the pretty RGB downlight strip :)

Oh, not good :( when you ordered how many did they say they had? You could always contact Dell as they have had several people cancel so may actually have stock available soon now. Don't want to rub it in but my X34P turned up today, absolutely flawless... no dead pixels, no back light bleed...

Looks like a few of us managed to grab a bargain :D Once Amazon have them back in stock the price is going up to £944.97 :D
