Bathroom and toilet ceilings ripped down (used to be 2 separate rooms) and luckily the top plasterboard layer is ok and won’t need replacing! Also fitted the window board and moved the light fitting to the centre of the room… now just the tidying up to do

We’re all set for completion on Tuesday which is fantastic, exchanged last Tuesday / Thursday on the sale / purchase. Turns out the delay from our buyers was cause they had covid.

We’re ready to exchange but waiting on the buyers returning the signed contracts and paying their deposit. Annoyingly they’ve had the contracts since 2/9 so getting a bit worried now...

Buyers had their building survey done today, hopefully doesn’t throw up any issues that cause a problem for the sale!

You’re probably correct in that they all drop when passing node to node. I have one of the non mesh WiFi boosters and the problem I find is that my router WiFi signal reaches the end of the house but is poor in terms of performance. So sometimes I have to manually move the connection to the...

I’d personally advise making sure any wifi boosters/extenders you buy are Mesh. Saves changing which WiFi ssid you are connected to and also stops the connection unexpectedly dropping out when you go from one area of the house to another.

No reason why this can’t be done. If the router was going to be on the new socket I’d advise making that the master socket and running the other one as an extension off of it.

After reading this thread I decided to replace the leaking compression fitting under the sink. Job done, no more leaks!

Looks like it’s going to be a long claim, so you might as well start the process to get the CCTV. You might get lucky and get the footage quicker and put an end to all of this.

Had the same issue when I had my training, another guy doing his but he thought he knew everything as he had been riding his 125 for a few years. Safe to say he went and failed his mod2 on the day we both had it. Might be worth seeing if they can fit you in another lesson before if it would...
