I had a ATI 5850 coupled with a Q6600, I was severely bottlenecked. I couldn't get above 30 FPS on BF BC2 back in the day. Upgrade cpu or overclock more. 0.66 Ghz OC isn't going to do much imo.

My 670 is clocked @ 1300/6890 and completely stable 24/7 and at stock voltages. Idle @ 28 deg and I've seen the highest of 68 deg when playing BF3 for 4 1/2 hours. For some reason my heaven crashes just after I get the scores, I ASSURE YOU, it's completely stable gaming and other benches...

What Hard drive are you recording on? That is also a major factor. You need around 100mb/s sequential read/writes to be able to record at Medium quality on DxTory.
