I'm running XtreStoLite on mine I didn't need to change bootloader or modem, I just flashed from CWM I tried Alliance for a while but I found it very buggy and a bit sluggish, then I moved over to crDroid and that was beautiful but lacked some features (IR blaster mainly) so I moved back to TW...

Pull the battery out and give the power button a good squirt with contact cleaner - let it soak down the side of the button etc That stuff is great, doesn't leave any residue either :)

I did have some issues with the phone crashing with an incoming call and some problems with not receiving text messages with v106... v107 fixed that though and I've got no problems on v108 either :)

It's not so much 'changing his mind' as to changing direction based on how things were performing. You have to remember that he's combining factors from loads of different roms and attempting to get them to all play nicely together in one package. If this is not the case and there is a conflict...

I'd probably go for an S5 or Note 3 right now... depending what the Note 4 brings that might be an option I'd be all over the Nexus options if they'd only ditch the stubbornness about not having an external SD slot!! That's a little too iCrap for my liking - my son has an ipod and with no card...

You can't revert from v52+ back to v50 without issues... the multi-sim changes a lot of the core files, so if you DO want to roll back to v50 you will definitely need a full wipe Other than that, I was having some acore process FC's after installing v59, plus all my contacts had disappeared...

I'm running CM10.1.3 stable on my two little boys Nook HDs and the whole CM experience is just perfect on a tablet! :) [highly recommended tablet for those on a tight budget by the way, amazing screen resolution and brilliant performance - even for gaming (Real Racing 3/Asphalt 8 for example...

I updated from v50 to v51 beta a few days ago and since then my calendar can't sync with the google servers, when I try to sign into it it just tells me it's unable to connect Is this a problem faced by anyone else, or just by me? It's driving me bonkers! I've full wiped (philz, "clean to...

Banks 'Core' Gapps don't exist any more - as he's ditched the 'standard' package (as all apps are now available on the Play Store) so the only one available now is called "Banks Minimal" It's exactly the same package but the name has changed - just mentioning it to save stress and confusion for...

The only thing deterring me from going down the Nexus road is the inevitable lack of ExtSD option... I couldn't cope without that to be honest! The standard internal storage is nowhere NEAR big enough when you've got apps/games out there totalling 2gb+ for a single app (that, plus the 32gb...

If you want to add a page, just drag an icon to the right hand edge of the screen and it'll add automatically :) Or use Nova Launcher and do it the old fashioned way ;)

Nova Launcher with Nova Prime (basically, the full paid version) is the way to go in my opinion - though it does present even more options to set up lol including more gesture options than you could ever find uses for :) Worth every one of it's 260 pennies!! (or wait for the Prime pack to...

I been running Temasek's CM11 build since the very first preview build and to be honest, it's a cracking ROM I've just installed his final build of CM10.2 on my girlfriend's S3 as I didn't want to bother her with updating it every couple of days and she's more than happy with it! The phone is...

I use Child Lock Pro - it gives you a locked launcher that you can select which apps/games are available to your kids. I use this to prevent my little guys spending all my coins on 8ball pool or from scaring the **** out of themselves with dead trigger 2 lol They're happy with bike...
