Intel says that anything up to 1.4 should be fine.
I think 1.4++ you could start cooking the cpu.
I am also keeping my memory low as I can at 1.5V @ 1887 9-9-9-24-CAS1mhz.
I will probably back the baby down a bit.
No problems with the P67A-UD4. Using f5 bios and its smooth sailing.
The mobo does have 1-2 probs though.
A) Front audio plug is right by the rear IO ( Why so far away I will never know )??
B) CPU fan control is possible but not SYSTEM FAN which is a bit annyoing.
C) No IDE connector on the...
Been playing with 2600K today on a Gigabyte P67A-UD4.
Currently @ 4833MHz 1.37Volts
And this thing loves the SLI setup and/or probably Xfire.
OC is far too easy, move the multipier up the voltage. Done. Gone are the days of tweaking and FSB adjustments.
My GFX card SLI % usage has...
Poor 69## generation cards?
Bulldozer will be a flop?
Release of the extremely fast Sandy Bridge?
Unable to produce squat (ie Global Foundries)
Resurgance of Nvidia / ARM CPU?
Intel and Nvidia in bed, cross-licensing agreement
Take your pick?
Calm down guys.
There is nothing to suggest that 1.65 on memory damages the chip.
Damage is more likely when ppl push the vcore too much.
Memory controller is exactly the same as 1156 CPUs.
Which are 1.5 up to 1.65
how much voltage were you running to begin with?
I doubt that Memory VID is killing the chips as Sandy Bridge has probably the same mem controller as the 1156 CPU's. which are rated to 1.65.
Ocuk could easily diffuse this by just lowering the price by 20£.
And still earn a pretty penny from sales.
Lots of stores with instock K are coming up, with £10-20 cheaper.....
And cheaper mobos?
Stock is there too.
What are ocuk giving us? 2.5% vat voucher...Ain't going to cut it.
Nvidia working with arm on a CPU is big driver behind more recent drive up.
Nvidia also has improved their video card range massively compared to 6months.
Poor show from 69 series.
Supercomputer based on fermi.
Apple continuing to use Nvidia product.
Edit:- targa2 in more devices.

Buying 24in monitor for 120hz sounds a bit gimmicky.
They offer faster response in fps that ur bog standard 60hz but do all this by sacrificing picture quality. + have u seen the bUild quality of sone of these 120hz monitors .
Diabolical is the word.
3D is defiantly a good option that's a bit...
We will see, Antilles aka 6990 will run into same power problems and may even be worse with these dual gpu cards.
Evidence is there from slightly fail 6970 cards!
In my honest opinion.
I know Rroff, that this card and cooler ISNT.
But this ISNT a Nvidia reference cooler.
This is EVGA custom cooler.
The holes would indicate that Nvidias reference cooler just might expel the hot air out?
