If I'm honest, I just want the best gfx card and I'm willing to shell out for a ti having had 1080 vanilla last gen. I'm in a fortuante position where i can afford this and it looks to me like it will be roghly double the speed of the 1080 making it a great upgrade. Naturally I'll look at...
Will be my life in gaming : https://youtu.be/brMW6KFue-I
I have a framemeister on a 65" 4k tv and it looks as far better than any direct connection. If you can't get a CRT then get an OSSC or a framemeister, its far more than a line doubler, else your tv's scaler would do the same job.
Just...
Falling house prices would have negative overall consequences for the economy. It's not just a symptom it can actually cause an economic downturn. This is mostly due to the housing wealth effect that would decrease consumer demand and as others have said will lower demand for building work...
but... new toy... I went through a bit of doubt, but you know its going to be fun playing about with it whatever happens.
I also have a good PC but sometimes its nice to buy the games for a defined platform and get physical releases.
I've got one, its amazing for 240p and OK (IMO) for 480i. If you're big into 16bit and earlier then its a no-brainer if you can't get your hands on a PVM.
Things to note though, you'll need your consoles to be outputting RGB and you'll need the correct RGB leads. This also inevitably leads...
Anyone else worry that Vega isn't even out yet and we're comparing it with the 1080. NV will release Volta and this will become another 480 situation where it's decent value but it's a gen behind the top end. I think it's great for the mid market consumer, but it's not what I'm after...
I play on a 65" 4k TV and in some games the AA @4k makes little difference but in others it's very noticeable. I wouldn't say it's cut and dry if its needed or not to get the best IQ. That said it's the first thing I kill if I need more fps at 4k.
I was doing something similar before I got my 2300w so that I could send 4k60 to the TV. Only downside is that the audio gets compressed on optical rather than pcm on hmdi. IO'm sure the difference is small but it still made me sad I wasn't getting the best out of everything.
I went in for it, not sure if I got the last one though, hopefully though ! Make my weekend a lot sweeter :)
I cancelled my inno3d order, tbh I'm happier with gigabyte as a brand. So anyone waiting on the x3, you may have just got bumped up the queue by 1.
Is 2160p 60hz 4:4:4 a limitation of the hdmi standard though ?
I've recently had some fun finding out that HDMI wires adont work at that spec if theya re longer than 7m. Shorter wire the better it seems at this res.
