Your GPU history tree and potential next card

EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 Ti Boost SC 2GB > Asus STRIX GTX 960 2GB > Now looking for anything with 8GB of RAM or more of around RTX 3070 speed/wattage (Intel, AMD or Nvidia) that is at RRP or below (RTX series been out some time now!). I am never one to overpay for something so I will just...

    3070 TI @ £799 - doesn't feel too stupid a price?

Found the scalper :D Or, someone scared that they will see the actual price their card is worth soon :o.

Reducing Energy Costs - Graphics and System Related

Interesting, is this same behaviour seem on AMD cards or is it platform agnostic? I am quite interested in GPU power savings myself hence why I'd never go for a high end GPU unless it was lower wattage. It can add up a lot over the year and helps save the planet a little bit I guess... Granted...

    30xx Series Founders Edition

Yeah, I've joined the Telegram group now as well, although the FE's have been out for a while now back in the day (;)) prices would have gone down from launch!! Things will improve soon anyway... I've waited long enough now. AMD, Nvidia or Intel that is the question. AMD has SAM which seems to...

    Recommended ARGB (diffused) led strips

Hi all, Recommendations please for good ARGB diffused LED strips for inside my pc case? Or is it better to just get a decent ARGB LED strip and make it diffused yourself? I'm looking for really good quality, cool running, accent lightning. Thanks

It would be great if all of us gamers - let's be honest we all have something in common and love to play games and using our PCs, it's a bit unfair for people to have to wait over a year to buy a graphics card - unless they want to pay 3x+ RRP. It's no ones fault, supply and demand but a...

Nothing as you don't have 1000 posts  Me either  Edit: I thought it was 1000 but I've just read the following: OcUK Forums members who have 250 or more posts and have been registered for over 90 days, or OcUK Forums members who have been registered for over 12 months and made at...

Anyone just given up on looking for a new GPU?

So I've read, and imagine, but you know you gotta try it ;) I mean my monitor does it, I neeeed it ;) Now my difficulty with newer titles is going to be either lower graphics settings over high FPS, that is the question ;) haha

I think there is a way to stick your forum name in on the shop account section.

A 1000 posts is a hell of a lot though. Quality over quantity. Not bashing long time members with 1000+ posts but with the likes of Reddit and Facebook these days there are a lot of places to discuss computers and related items. This sort of thing tends to encourage lots of "pointless" posts to...

Anyone just given up on looking for a new GPU?

Haha, exact same here, but after seeing a monitor do above 60hz, and then going back to a 60hz and it feeling like a slideshow, I'm hooked on high FPS! Now I want to experience 240hz at least on a few games, and to test my new monitor works at it's advertised spec but now it's been too long...

Anyone just given up on looking for a new GPU?

Yep, I've given up! I built a new PC a few months back AMD 5800X CPU, Tomahawk B550 MB, new 3600mhz RAM, new 1440p 240hz monitor etc but still can't play quite a few new games as I've only got a GTX 960, at least it's a 4GB model! So yeah, this GPU can't even support the latest display port...

Which camera bag for 70-200mm lens?

Ok almost hit the buy button for the Think Tank Sling-O-Matic 20 Black Shoulder Bag, which fits my needs nicely, but over 120 quid just for a bag - which to be honest I won't use much actually as I'll have my cam out while out and about... What other recommendations do you guys have for me to...

Which camera bag for 70-200mm lens?

Cheers mate, can go up a bit if I can fit the hood ready to go, I feel it adds more protection too (and I can't be assed with peeing around with it lol).

Which camera bag for 70-200mm lens?

Hi guys, Sorry to bump this thread a bit. I'm after a bag to store my 70-200mm 2.8 IS II in with the hood in the extended position, do any of the above allow this? My camera is the Canon 550D but it is gripped. Max budget of 60 quid ideally. Cheers
