New PC - 2k+ to spend

Think I have a good idea of what I want to do now, just deciding on going the 7090xtx or the 4090 and a case for it.

New PC - 2k+ to spend

I would love a 4090 but I think the 2.7ish mark is where im going to set the limit. Im guessing theres no way to fit that in while not nerfing the rest of the parts? Work is not my focus, I do alittle streaming and editing here and there but its nothing serious.

New PC - 2k+ to spend

Thanks for the replies all, ill have alook and make a final choice soon. On the cpus, why is the cheaper 7800 better than the one I put in and say the other option? AMD Ryzen 9 7950X Sixteen Core 5.70GHz (Socket AM5) Processor - Retail £569.99 (incl. VAT) One other question, do I need to buy...

New PC - 2k+ to spend

Hey all, ive been thinking about this over the past few days and I could spend the extra money on the pc. Im not on at all to really upgrade parts until im building new. The last pc I had for just over 8 years so if I can get something similar out of this, then spending the extra bit should be...

New PC - 2k+ to spend

Mostly just watching movies and youtube but I do stream everynow and again. I game very heavily and play a mix of games. Im pretty much glued to my pc for work and gaming. Yes its a similar case to the one I built along time ago. I do remember it being a big case though, which I did like. Ah...

New PC - 2k+ to spend

Is ray tracing really worth it vs the extra GB? Ive usually gone with AMD cards but thats usually because they were cheaper or such, I dont really have any preference.

New PC - 2k+ to spend

Hello, Im in the need of a new pc. I have just over 2k to spend, I could go up to 2.5k if the pc will be a lot better. Any ideas on this and how much I should spend? I only need a tower building, my current monitor is the LG 27GL850-B. I may purchase a 4k monitor in the future. I do have 2 old...

    New GPU

Brought the 6900, its a solid enough deal at the moment and even if the 7900 is worth it, its still 1k+ in one go and actually getting hold of one.

To bite the bullet on this or wait for a chance on the new 7900xt/xtx cards. I can't make my mind up on this. I know there a lot cheaper than the 4090 cards but 1k+ is still a lot for 1 component.

    New GPU

Im tempted to pull the trigger on the 6900xt, I guess the RT with the nvidia cards isnt really worth paying that much extra for and possible fps? How much are the AMD reference cards expected to be and is it even worth waiting on them? if the card is going to be 1000+, are those cards going to...

    New GPU

Howdy all, I built my pc about two years but I never got a GPU for it the way its been with them. I was hoping they would go down in price of the next gen would be more sensible but silly me for thinking that. Anyway I really need a new card as im using a 970 that seems to be on its last legs...

    New Headset

Taking apeak at them now and they seem good. Im debating between the Phillips X2HR and the Sennheiser 38x at the moment. Found a pair for 38x for £108 which is surprising since my 363D's cost just over 200.

    New Headset

I do like the design and feel of the 363D but I never got them for being open, background or ambient noise isn't really a problem for me. Sound isolation would be nice but not at the expense of anything else. I play a huge selection of different games, I mostly play mmo's and rpgs but everynow...

    New Headset

Hello all, looking for a new headset for gaming and a lot of music. With it being black friday tomorrow, might be worth alook. Ive had the Sennheiser 363D's for just under 9 years now and ive been very happy with them but I took a trip to Glasgow last year with them and they got soaked in my bag...

    New Keyboard after 18 years

Howdy all, so I recently decided to clean my keyboard after 18 years and its not quite working the same anymore. The arrow keys wont stay in the board and the space/return are really sticky. Bit sad to be replacing the first keyboard I ever got but should I be looking at a mech keyboard or a get...
