I did doubt it myself if any 3050 would be sold at MRSP so fair play to @Gibbo and Overclockers for late this afternoon and the speedy shipping too.
Managed to buy a 3050 for £239 for myself and is replacing a 760 GB I currently use. Before that I did have a 580 8GB but sold it before prices...
Overclockers won't be launching any earlier or anyone else.
Launch date and time is chosen by Nvidia and companies will sign an NDA as to stick to it too.
The owners thread is a very small snapshot of the UK market and isn't representative either of the market anyway. It's merely a poll completed by people who visit the forum and care to post they have a card. They'll be many people who simply haven't posted either for that matter.
Sorry but...
FE cards demand a premium on eBay because they are FHR (certain models at least).
Most on here will buy and wait for FE's because of the cost.
AIB's won't sell as often on ebay as they are already scalped by distribution/retailers/AIB's so there's not as much profit in them to be scalped.
And...
It's more likely a case they can sell the chipsets to AIB's instead for more profit and without the hassle of having to build the FE cards themselves and all the issues involved.
Here we go again with people bizarrely expecting this to be sold at MRSP. (Not going to happen).
Now AIB cards have been sold at MRSP in this generation and they are extremely unlikely to be either.
Gibbo has explained a number of reasons why this happens yet people are seemingly unable to...
Agree with Andy, I only bother eating on a run if it's going to be around 90 minute or more, otherwise I'm good to go. Don't take hydration unless out for an hour or more either in current weather. In summer I'd probably take a bottle just in case.
1st parkrun of the year in a while for me today, so far only managed 24 parkruns (including today) in around 7/8 years as I use to work most weekend and prioritise other things when off. Now have 6/8 weekends off so looking to see if I can get my total to 50 this year!! A big ask possibly but...
Not the same console but similar situation.
I play my PS4 Pro on a 27" 1440p monitor and the image is actually really good so not even sure what you would quantity 'considerably worse' as.
My monitor does claim to be at a 4K resolution when I switch it to the PS4 Pro but it can't he as it's...
I think people fail to realise that Ethereum isn't the only coin moned though either.
Do people actually think mining is going to disappear just because ETH goes pos?
And I'm not saying that prices won't drop a bit (they might not either however) but if/when crypto sees a higher levels don't...
It's MRSP is £239. It won't be being sold for £250 so no chance at £220.
Given the 6500XT is £225 on Overclockers and some of the cards being sold for £330 then I'd expect £300+ for the 3050. It's said to perform 20% better than a 6500XT and has 8GB of RAM so both demand and cost are going...
Even if Crypto prices continue further down I don't see that lasting for long and any temporary drop in GPU prices will only increase again when crypto increases again.
And if miners were sensible and had enough profit banked from before then there's no harm in continuing to mine even with low...
I had another Chilli one the other night after the gym, the texture I don't think is far off from a bowel of soggy Cheerios and found it a bit spicy for my liking too and strong in flavour. Not a bad thing though, just not to my taste.
Sticking to the shakes myself and leaving it at that.
I love how people are seemingly upset more at an individual selling something for a profit but if a company does it then it's absolutely fine. I fail to understand why there's a difference in attitude towards what is essentially the same thing.
One person selling something at a profit makes a...
Indeed, £400 profit for what was essentially 15 minutes of work then why not. Someone else would likely have scalped one if it wasn't me anyway so took the opportunity. Plus it will pay for whatever card I actually want to use.
