Fitting a rad in CM-690 II case

Thanks guys Been doing a bit of reading and measuring and most likely will get away with a 240mm rad in top but may have to just fit a small 120mm rad in the bottom. I have been looking at a few other water cooling topics and did like what G-Dubs did with his cm690 ii case and was going to...

Fitting a rad in CM-690 II case

When are you getting all the rads back in, have been waiting for about a month now and currently looking their is 1 240 rad in stock and that is it, and their is not a single pump in stock, I built my entire pc from overclockers but its hard to purchase what I when certain products aren't in...

Fitting a rad in CM-690 II case

Thanks GoogalyMoogaly really appreciate the help Will have a measure tonight to see how much space I have for the bottom rad. Think I will go CPU watercooled then, seems like a good idea and will give me more space to work with. So you can 100 percent get a 240mm rad in the top, where...

    Air cooler for i5 2500k

Got the bequiet dark rock advanced Love it, only downsides are, you won't get the best temps compared to coolers like the silver arrow and the D14 Noctua and also the fitting of this cooler is a massive pain. It fits nicely once installed but its a right pain. What case do you have as in...

    I5 2500k Overclock good chip?

I only did the 1.52 vcore so I could see how high I could bench, topped otu at 5.3 and then it didn't matter what else I adjusted wouldn't post past that. The 5gz sandybridge forum were doing it just for laughs but wouldn'y run on a daily basis, might try and raise vocre to like 1.40 tonight...

    I5 2500k Overclock good chip?

This could explain why my temps were so stupidly high under intel burn and kept crashing lol I might try and retest again tonight then, I managed to bench up to 5.3 and booted into windows and ran superpi as shown in the 5gz thread but only achieved with a crazy 1.52 vcore. Day to day...

Fitting a rad in CM-690 II case

Thanks Panyan GoogalyMoogaly thansk for the advice, i'm happy with my cpu cooling anyway, running 4.5 and temps never going above 60 anyway. Its SLI 470's that are killing my temps. Hitting 84C on bottom card and just trying to find a long term solution for cooling. I would love to overclock...

Fitting a rad in CM-690 II case

It does say on OCUK: Room for 120 x 240mm Radiator inside the top and bottom But I remember a thread somewhere saying this was optimistic, especially for the rad in the top of the case

    I5 2500k Overclock good chip?

Its down to you really, my i5 was a bit weird, i'm currently happy running 4.5 day to day and have lowered the vcore down to 1.265 and temps down't go above 60C under 4 hours of primer blended but at 4.6 was a totally different ball game. I had to raise vcore up to like 1.32 and under low...

    SLI temps question

I have my fans step up in afterburner a moment so if temps go above about 75C the fans kick up to 100 percent fan speed, don't notice noise as using a pair of KAVES so don't hear it anyway. What is a safe temp in general for gpu's is it like 100C?

    SLI temps question

Hi guys Recently went SLI with 2 GTX 470 cards, (ZOTACT AND MSI twin frozr), just wondering what is considered safe temps. Obviosuly running SLI with 2 cards is gonig to raise temps but are these acceptable. After a few hours of Crysis warhead on top setting, top card is hitting 75C...
