For what it's worth... I have an optical drive en-route to South Africa via the UK and I stared in dismay at the FedEx tracking log as the package just sat in the UK for 3 days not moving. At some point I wondered if there wasn't perhaps some sort of holiday with resultant shipping backlog...

I see now that both hazro.com and hazro.co.uk domains are not found by my browser. I wonder if they will make an appearance. :confused: I'm on a notification list for HZ27WC without glass. Will see how that plays out. EDIT: Yes, I do find it very troubling.

Hazro, thanks for clearing this up (pun intended). I would be interested in a glass-free version. If dust cannot be ruled out and the glass panel can't be removed, then I won't consider buying one. I care less for the aesthetics of the monitor and much more for the image quality during...

Interesting opinion. I see in your signature that you have experience with both the Dell and the Hazro 30-inchers. Would you say the lower cost Hazro 30-inch is similar in display quality to the Dell 30-inch? Are the anti-glare coatings different or similar?

Did any of us willing to spend 400 pounds expect a poor build quality because it costs half that of a Dell? Less features, yes, but not poor build or QC. For the C-model I factored lower cost to be due to: lack of several input options lack of fancy memory slots and USB ports possibly...

How about Hazro offers an open-face version without glass? I've thought about this several times in the past. Instead of a glass cover, how about a hard plastic lid which clips over the monitor front for LCD protection when not in use? Or even a cloth cover like those you pull over a car...
