I came here to meekly mention Reservoir Dogs. I struggle to get it even though I think I should.
Pulp Fiction I really enjoy, as well as his last 4 films, particularly Hateful Eight. Reservoir Dogs and the Kill Bills have never done it for me.
As above..... casual gaming its awesome. So many games I can play with my Son or my nephew's who live abroad via their PS/Switch
I can see how it might really cause issues for any serious competitive play for all the reasons given. Its hard to see how you solve balancing controller vs KBM.
Where it makes sense and the numbers work out vs cash discount (rarer and rarer nowadays), I'll always use another entity's cash vs my own. I generally have savings and investments that range from 5% - 22% return and I'd rather keep those where they are, so if HP/Finance offers lower then it...
Would love to go back and play the Witcher 3 for the first time. You should definitely play it... I'm coming back for a play through at some point soon.
I'm looking forward to the remake of TW1, hopefully they do something about that first level/act which was a huge drag and off-putting. Does...
well I drifted from RDR2, still struggling to find it e joyable.
I started BG3 out of curiosity as it was next on the list but wasn't expecting to play it for a while.
I lost about 5hrs to it yesterday. I wasn't sure I'd like top down turn based but I find it quite capturing. There's a...
I have this evening dropped the Gigabyte GRE into the rig.
The first install of adrenaline and drivers was a bit iffy, all games loaded low settings and a couple crashed when upping settings. A system Crash and all my bios/PBO settings reset
A reinstall and we are running sweet...
This is a great build... but I'd be tempted to make some savings and get a better monitor to really show off that kit
You could save on CPU/GPU and still get great 1440p performance.
CPU: 7600x. (£210, save £150)
GPU: 7900 GRE (£530, save £210)
You'd have roughly £580 to splash on the...
Nope!
There's a small market for collectors and maybe super fans of certain brands. And that's cool and fair enough.
In general though... I think the days of boxes, cases, media etc are gone for the majority of us (who has a disk drive nowadays?!)
I went with the family to Banff just over a month ago.
In early April not much will have thawed in the Rockies (Alberta, BC). You could
1) Skate Lake Louise (although as someone has already said, its not more than a lake and a hotel - incredibly pretty but the kids might get fed up any...
I have a strange occurrence that's started in the last few days.
All the folders and contents on my main drive appear to be defaulting to read only. Whats made me notice is that none of my steam, epic, gog games will update automatically now as they return with various errors about...
RDR2.... Still a bit Meh
Myself and the lad have installed Apex legends to have a bit of a crack different from Fortnite.
Finding it a real challenge! Regularly having our backsides handed to us without not even seeing any other players, feels like a huge step up from Fortnite. Hoping my Son...
Thats the way it goes.... and in my experience it never comes back the same way again as when you had time/money/groundbreaking games/affordable gear/no misses.
Then your kids get into gaming and half your gaming time at least is with them and the gaming bug comes back in a different way.
I read that Outerworlds is free again next week.
I meant to get that when it was free over the Christmas period but I accidentally allocated it to my son's account. Very happy to see its back out for free, I was going to buy it next time I was in the market for an RPG
I've just started RDR2 after finishing Cyberpunk.
Same as a few othera...I'm not finding it a real draw yet... I had huge expectations, maybe too high!
Both the accuracy of the controls and the sporadic save game seems completely clunky and cumbersome. On the rare chance I get to save a...
This for me too.
I always have a mess around with Heaven unigine (and valley), and other benchmark software and then feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I see that huge increase in a number.... regardless of whether it looks any better or not :D
