Roughly what I was thinking, Then placing the sub within the sofa facing towards the kitchen with some porting. Really appreciate your thoughts and advice on the Radius 90. Will have to post an update when it's complete :-)
Sounds like it could be the better option for us in this situation. Any thoughts on the various possibilities of speaker locations I'm thinking about some kind of mounting possibly in the rafters over the sofa.
It’s something that I was looking to have a permanent fixture. Hadn’t considered going the sub route. I suppose I could fit a sub inside the seating and at one end and have a port hole added next to the sub.
I do like Monitor Audio, currently I have a pair of Bronze 5 floorstanders but space...
Hey All,
Wife and I are currently in the process of working on the design of a Tiny House (think George Clark's Amazing Spaces). Great thing about an endeavour of getting to spec out a house is addition of custom wiring and of course - I need speakers. So far we have an initial floor plan and...
Ardour is a good free option, if you're used to Ableton you can either run it through Wine which works pretty well or have a look at Bitwig. Bitwig is kind of a Ableton/Linear sequence cross made by some ex-Ableton staff. Native Linux version too.
Would advise against Kali if you're going for general desktop Linux. More of a specialised Pentesting tool.
If you want to go down the dual boot route with Windows there is a guide on their website: https://www.kali.org/docs/installation/dual-boot-kali-with-windows/
Looking forward to Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage and Thy Art is Murder on 2nd Feb at Alexandra Palace!
Still tickets available if anyone is into those bands.
Originally I was looking at around the £700-£800 mark maximum. That's the reason I've been looking at Windows machines and the iPad. As per my OP I have a Thinkpad T430s that does all of my general computing so this second device needs to have a good screen, import and make adjustments to RAWs...
Back from visiting Apple and Currys today and find myself even more unsure to be honest, I think it's just where I am trying to replace a device that has been my soul device for six years! I really found myself enjoying the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil felt really good for some editing stuff...
I'm going to be heading into a couple of shops over the weekend to have a bit of hands on with the products mentioned so far and will see how they feel and look!
I'm heading out to Sweden from 4th to 15th February. Spending five days in Abisko/Kiruna so I'll definitely be trying to capture the Northern Lights.
Hoping to also visit either Norway or Finland later this year (October-ish). I'm a sucker for a pretty landscape.
As per my thread in...
Glass will always feel closer to the actual screen, provide more protection but will add more thickness and cost. Shouldn't affect the pencil at all.
If you use your Apple pencil for anything art related have a look at Paperlike screen protectors. I'd always opt for glass myself.
That's why the iPad Pro was somewhat appealing to me. I don't have the means to print so all of my photography is pretty much edited then posted to 500px, Instagram and DeviantArt.
Is it possible to create panorama stitches on iOS?
Don't get me wrong, I would love another Macbook Pro but...
