Isn't 6/7 years for a PSU pretty good? Im not sure I would try and resolder personally, but imagine you might be more skilled than I am. Are you thinking of trying to repair it due to lack of 1000W PSUs at the moment?

Thanks, I opted to buy a new PSU in the end with some extra GPU ports. I'd rather not risk it with components being so expensive. Shame to have to go from Titanium PSu to Gold though but needs must.

Hi all, I've read some conflicting information about using the CPU4+4 output on my PSU for GPU connection. Does anyone know if its possible to use a PCI-E 8 Pin cable to connect a GPU on the 8 pin port marked "CPU" on the PSU? I have used all of the GPU ports and would like to connect another...

Just got my RTX3080 MSI Gamign X Trio from OCUK, very pleased! Does anyone else get theirs already? Wondering if 3 x 8pin is neccessary?

FYI, it seems that another retailer has updated their page with 3080 status. It seems that a lot of the cards are delayed coming in to them. I can't imagine its just them who are experiencing shipping delays.
