Honestly most games I've been playing recently. Diablo 4, Satisfactory, WoW etc. Different range of games, obviously some perform better than others. All are definitely playable, but it'd be nice to have high settings with a stable FPS. You're right though, looking to be in the 100+ range for a...
Appreciate the quick response.
Any recommendations on a particular 6800XT to aim for or avoid?
I've seen some others really hype up a 5800X3D before elsewhere. Performance is really that good? I'll definitely add it to my list for the future for sure if so.
Title pretty much sums it up.
I've been looking at making some upgrades and I've come to the conclusion that my GPU is probably the weak link in my current build (Correct me if I'm wrong)
Most games I end up having to change settings to some odd combination of high/medium/low depending on...
Hell yeah, super happy with it all.
Thanks for your help as well with everything, it's very much appreciated.
Feels good to no longer be using a PC that struggled to even hit 30fps on lowest settings on whatever game I tried :p
Found it ;)
Now I guess the decision to make is whether I wait till Black Friday or not.
I guess I can always try and get the price difference refunded in some way if I buy it now and then the price does drop.
I've looked elsewhere but the cheapest I can find 27" 1440p 144hz is about £340.00, which is more than a smidge above the £250.00 I was setting myself.
Edit:
Fair enough, makes sense.
I assume it's worth dismissing the idea of a 32" then?
Already emailed them about a couple of other items before and was told they can't advise me on why a specific item is B Grade :( I guess no harm in making a post instead.
Would it be a worthwhile purchase if I pulled the trigger on the...
I have actually been keeping an eye on clearance stuff.
My basket at Overclockers UK:
1 x **B Grade** Samsung LC27JG50QQUXEN 27" 2560x1440 VA 144Hz Curved Gaming Widescreen LED Monitor= £239.90
1 x **B Grade** AOC CQ32G1 32" 2560x1440 VA QHD 1ms 144Hz FreeSync Curved Widescreen LED Gaming...
The only I can see on OCUK is priced at £379.99.
Is it worth going for the same spec but with 75hz for £247.95? Not sure I can really afford the cost at £379.99 :(
Not more noise than expected really. Just the gentle whirring of the fans.
I have recently adjusted the fan curve for the GPU, so it's a little louder than stock now.
I've just recently got myself the below PC and now I'm looking for a decent monitor to compliment it, however I'm lost on what I should be going for.
I've been ideally looking for a 27" 1440p, however I've been recommended the following:
My basket at Overclockers UK: 1 x AOC Q3279VWFD8 32"...
Yeah that's what I'm thinking, but I honestly just don't know specific models to be looking at.
Probably going to make a post over in the 'Monitor' section to get some help.
